We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our team, focusing on selling fiber or fixed wireless solutions for residential and commercial markets in the telecom industry. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales deals to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our telecom services.

The successful candidate must bring the highest standard of professionalism and provide superior support to customers, team members, and field operations. This individual will work closely with the Field Operations Manager, Network Operations Center (NOC), our field installation staff and dispatchers to provide outstanding, timely delivery of services. The hours for this position a reflexible and will generally be between 8am and 5pm. Occasional evening or weekend work may also be required. Excellent attendance, organizational, and written and oral communication skills are required.

Essential Duties:
● Lead Generation and Sales Management: Prospect and generate leads via cold calling, networking, and referrals. Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
● Customer Relationship and Needs Analysis: Develop and maintain customer relationships, serve as the primary contact during the sales process, and perform needs analyses to offer tailored fixed wireless and low-voltage solutions for residential and commercial clients.
● Proposal and Contract Development: Collaborate with technical teams to prepare accurate proposals, quotations, and budgets. Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
● Project Coordination and Support: Work directly with Business Development Specialist to complete project organization, provide hands-on support, attend job site meetings, and follow up on project completion. Manage invoicing, collections, and budget adjustments as project scopes change.
● Industry Engagement and Professional Development: Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. Attend industry events and training to enhance knowledge and improve sales and project management practices.
● Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Maintain CRM records, analyze sales and project data, and use insights to refine future activities. Contribute to sales process improvements and engage in ongoing professional development.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to align sales strategies with business goals. Report directly to the Business Development Specialist to optimize sales opportunities.

Qualifications:
● Interpersonal and Negotiation: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
● Experience: Proven experience in B2B/B2C sales within the telecom industry, with knowledge of telecom and fixed wireless solutions.
● Skills: Strong understanding of sales techniques, effective pipeline management, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Technical Proficiency: Proficient in CRM software and Google Docs; ability to read blueprints and construction documents is a plus.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
● License and Travel: Valid driver’s license, good standing, and willingness to travel locally as needed.
