This broadband initiative, along with creating more competition in the county, is dedicated to providing the availability of high-speed internet services to residents that do not currently have access.
Lawmakers, during a road-trip session held in the old carriage house at Constable Hall, voted 10-0 to allow Mohawk Networks to mount transmission equipment on its emergency radio tower in the town of Diana.
Internet access has become such a necessity and part of everyday life, it’s hard to imagine a time before it. Broadband internet service can easily be taken for granted, and shoddy dial-up connections can create a great amount of inconveniences – and can even make or break businesses.
