… Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
11 PM EST this evening…The National Weather Service in Burlington continues the Wind
Advisory, from 11 am this morning to 11 PM EST this evening.* Locations… northern New York… including the Saint Lawrence
valley and northern Adirondack Mountains.* Hazards… strong and gusty winds.
* Winds… southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* Timing… gusty winds develop this afternoon and are strongest
between 1 PM and 6 PM before tapering off this evening.* Impacts… scattered power outages and downed tree limbs are
likely, most focused across the Saint Lawrence valley and the
western slopes and higher elevations of the northern Adirondack
Mountains.
